This is my own version of Little Red Riding Hood inspired by Wayang puppet theater. She is on her way to her grandmother's house with a basket of hearts. A gentlemanly wolf tips his hat to her and politely asks for a heart. Touched by his courtesy, she complies. The wolf's companions, seeing how easily the girl gave her heart away, saw weakness. They asked and asked, pressuring her for hearts until she had no more. But still the wolves wanted more. What else could she provide in her empty basket? In the end, they ripped her apart in her naivety, taking her own beating heart for themselves.
